Senior Integration Developer/Python Developer (Python)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications, APIs, microservices, connectors, and integrations using Python and Java.
• Build reusable services, libraries, SDKs, and integration accelerators for identity and security initiatives.
• Develop RESTful and event-driven integrations across SaaS, cloud, security, HR, ITSM, and custom enterprise platforms.
• Implement Okta integrations using REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, webhooks, and SDKs, including custom connectors.
• Support identity lifecycle processes such as provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, governance, and certifications.
• Build secure, production-ready solutions with automated testing, troubleshooting, monitoring, auditing, performance optimization, and CI/CD automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software development and systems integration experience.
• Strong programming expertise in Python and Java, including Python backend or automation services.
• Experience with enterprise applications, APIs, integration services, backend systems, and Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, webhooks, and distributed system architectures.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, authentication, and authorization frameworks.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, analytical troubleshooting, and collaboration across technical and business teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Okta Workforce Identity, Okta Identity Governance, Universal Directory, Okta APIs, SDKs, or Okta AI Agent Gateway.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol, MCP server or client development, and AI agent integrations.
• Familiarity with SCIM 2.0, Auth0, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, ServiceNow, or Workday.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Terraform, or infrastructure as code.
• Experience in consulting, professional services, or customer-facing delivery environments.
