Production Operator - BDC

Location: Onsite in Murphy, North Carolina, United States

Salary: $16.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble electromechanical products, including rotor, stator sub-assemblies, motors, and drives, using manufacturing documentation and tooling.
• Operate screwdrivers, manual presses, and other hand tools.
• Install lead-wire pin connectors and apply varnish, glue, and activator to assemblies.
• Complete final motor assembly and test motor and drive performance against specifications.
• Load and monitor automated machinery, prepare finished assemblies for packaging, and complete cross-training across operations.
• Work extended periods while sitting or standing and work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions in English.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Experience with soldering or the ability to become certified.
• Good eyesight, color distinction, hand dexterity, and range of motion.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
