Maintenance Supervisor (Automation)

What you will do

• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a technical team of approximately 40 employees.
• Oversee daily engineering and maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, breakdown response, and instrument calibration.
• Manage third-party contractors supporting routine services, major repairs, and projects.
• Lead mechanical, packaging, electrical, automation, facilities, and building-equipment reliability for the factory.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with production, quality, and operations planning.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience engaging and developing technical teams.
• Experience managing projects from initiation through completion, including deadlines and progress tracking.
• Technical capability with complex electromechanical systems, packaging equipment, PLCs, robotics, HVAC, compressed air, steam, and mobile equipment repair.
• Ability to ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and regulatory standards.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing experience, particularly in high-speed manufacturing, FMCG, or food production.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma.
