Maintenance Supervisor

What you will do

• Lead and directly supervise skilled trades employees in the maintenance department.
• Coordinate safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate professional and breakdown maintenance activities and address throughput, run-to-run, and downtime-related equipment issues.
• Maintain equipment at basic conditions and support continuous improvement across the assigned production area.
• Coach and mentor hourly and supervisory employees on problem-solving techniques and corrective action implementation.
• Lead Kaizen projects focused on Overall Equipment Effectiveness, throughput improvement, and waste reduction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of industrial automation experience, including project management experience.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting, problem-solving, team leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience.
• Strong organizational, written, oral communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field.
• Experience with continuous improvement systems, lean manufacturing, and unionized maintenance teams.
• Experience with controls, robotics, drives, system-level communication systems, conveyance systems, welding, vision systems, and sensors.
