Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS/Azure)

Location: Hybrid position within a 90-mile radius of Carmel, Indiana, United States; travel up to 10% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead teams in designing and building modern cloud tenants and complex architectures for applications.
• Gather client requirements and design technical solutions aligned with architectural blueprints and technology strategy.
• Design and deploy highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code, DevOps methodologies, and automation using tools such as Terraform.
• Advise clients on cloud implementations, application modernization, architecture, governance, and emerging cloud services.
• Lead implementation efforts, collaborate with client technical teams, support presales activities, and mentor colleagues.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience with cloud-based and infrastructure platforms, including 3+ years designing and implementing cloud solutions.
• At least 2 years of experience implementing AWS and/or Azure solutions and designing and documenting cloud architectures.
• At least 2 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code implementations.
• Hands-on experience with cloud compute, storage, networking, containers, orchestration, cloud operations, troubleshooting, and workload migration.
• Experience designing Identity and Access Management and security architectures that meet industry compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with strong communication skills for working with clients and technical teams.

Nice to have

• AWS or Azure certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
• Experience with AWS and Azure Well-Architected Frameworks, cloud networking, and routing.
• Experience with CloudFormation, Amazon CDK, Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, Python, PHP, JavaScript, Java, C#, or shell scripting.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible, cloud governance, or cloud cost optimization tools.
