What you will do
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and optimize Terraform modules and pipelines for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and policy enforcement.
- Automate deployments and operational workflows using Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Lead discovery, assessment, and migration execution for IaaS, PaaS, and containerized workloads.
- Implement cloud security controls covering IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring, CIS, and NIST compliance.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients while documenting cloud designs, runbooks, and implementation plans.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States; the role is remote.
- 8–10+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience, including 5+ years in cloud infrastructure design and automation.
- Strong Terraform expertise covering modules, workspaces, state management, and CI/CD integration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services, including networking, identity, compute, storage, and security.
- Experience with data center or application migrations to cloud environments, Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration, and virtualization platforms.
- Strong documentation and client communication skills, with experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD integration.
Nice to have
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator/Architect, or Terraform Associate.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud container orchestration.
- Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting experience.
- Policy-as-code experience with Sentinel or OPA/Rego.
- Knowledge of CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.
