Product Specialist - Gen AI (Sr. Specialist Solutions Architect) (AI)

What you will do

• Provide technical thought leadership on generative AI best practices for the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform through blogs, webinars, guides, and technical enablement.
• Work with EMEA sales and Field Engineering leaders to drive adoption of Gen AI capabilities.
• Advise enterprise customers and senior technical stakeholders on Gen AI and deep learning architectures.
• Guide large-scale competitive Gen AI scenarios and remove implementation blockers.
• Partner with customers to translate research innovations into production-grade AI applications.
• Work with Product Management and Engineering to influence Gen AI product strategy and priorities.

Requirements

• Experience designing and delivering production-grade generative AI and deep learning solutions in customer or enterprise environments.
• Hands-on expertise with LLMs, Transformer architectures, PyTorch, and distributed or multi-GPU training.
• Experience with SFT and reinforcement learning-based post-training methods, including reward modeling, RLHF/RLAIF, PPO, or GRPO.
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, Apache Spark, cloud platforms, and Lakehouse architectures.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions and anticipate implementation blockers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; pre-sales experience is highly desirable.
