Social Media Lead (Fintech)

Location: New York City HQ, 7 World Trade Center; in-office role

Salary: USD 160,000–210,000 per year plus equity of $50,000–$75,000

What you will do

• Own social media channels across X, LinkedIn, and relevant finance and startup communities.
• Work directly with founders to amplify their voice and strengthen market visibility.
• Create timely short-form posts, replies, and mobile-shot videos tied to current events and conversations.
• Engage with finance leaders, founders, and communities, including discussions around competing products such as NetSuite.
• Measure engagement, follower growth, and awareness among finance professionals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience running social media for a startup, creator, or founder.
• Strong awareness of founder, SaaS, and startup conversations.
• Native short-form writing instincts with strong opening lines.
• Ability to work at high speed and adapt content without waiting for lengthy approval.
• High work ethic and availability beyond standard business hours when social activity requires it.

Nice to have

• Fintech, accounting, or B2B SaaS familiarity.
• Newsletter, podcast, or other side-project experience.
• Community-building or paid social experience.
• Experience as an extremely online operator rather than an agency social media manager.
