HRIS & People Operations Manager (ADP Workforce Now)

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the administration, configuration, security, integrations, workflows, and data governance of ADP Workforce Now and related HR systems.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, reconciliations, corrections, tax reporting, year-end processing, and compliance with wage and hour regulations.
• Manage benefits administration, workers’ compensation and unemployment claims, vendor coordination, and operational HR compliance.
• Lead HRIS enhancements, system upgrades, integrations, automation initiatives, audits, controls, and business continuity processes.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc HR, payroll, benefits, compliance, and workforce reports and provide operational insights to leadership.
• Lead and develop People Operations, HRIS, and payroll team members while partnering with People & Culture, Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, and external vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, payroll, HR operations, or related disciplines, including 3+ years managing or overseeing payroll.
• Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS and payroll platform.
• Knowledge of payroll administration, federal, state, and local regulations, and multi-state employment practices.
• Experience with HR compliance, benefits, workers’ compensation, reporting, HRIS configuration, data audits, implementations, SOPs, and process improvement.
• At least 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or people management experience, with strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and confidentiality skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting a growing multi-state organization or working in a technology, government contracting, or highly regulated environment.
• Advanced reporting, analytics, and process automation experience.
• ADP certification, CPP, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
