People Operations Generalist (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Base salary: $75,000–$100,000 per year; stock options may be offered in addition.

Deploy is an AI intelligence infrastructure platform providing optimized inference for open-source and proprietary AI models, including content safety, deepfake detection, sponsorship intelligence, and IP and publicity protection.

What you will do

• Serve as a key point of contact between executive leadership and employees.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, benefits and compensation administration, visa-related requests, payroll, time-off requests, and performance management.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Coordinate office operations, including inventory, catering, trips, and budgeting.
• Build systems that support an inclusive and diverse employee community, and lead employee relations activities, internal audits, and disciplinary meetings.
• Plan employee engagement events, maintain data-handling and information-security practices, and report suspected policy or security violations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2–4 years of Human Resources or People Operations experience, preferably at a high-growth technology company or startup.
• Experience building, maintaining, and presenting HR data analytics.
• High emotional and social intelligence, with experience fostering strong relationships with diverse groups of people.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrating a high level of professionalism.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Passion for people and how they work together to create a valuable organization.
