Senior Security Principal, Identity Security (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Define and drive identity security strategy, architecture, governance, and engineering standards.
• Lead initiatives across Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, hybrid identity, privileged access management, identity governance, workload identities, and certificate services.
• Design and implement secure identity solutions that reduce risk and strengthen enterprise access controls.
• Lead identity security initiatives, architecture reviews, and transformation programmes in large-scale organisations.
• Investigate identity security incidents using Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Identity, or equivalent platforms.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, application, and business stakeholders to influence security outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and qualifications.
• Extensive experience in identity and access management, identity security, cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise IAM environments.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, hybrid identity, identity governance, privileged access management, Conditional Access, and modern authentication.
• Strong knowledge of federation, single sign-on, application identity, identity lifecycle management, MFA, FIDO2, Windows Hello for Business, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, PKI, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate UK security clearance.
