Quality Assurance Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; US citizenship and an active Public Trust clearance are required. The supported client is located in Washington, DC.

Salary: $105,000–$124,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Develop software requirement specification documents for functional requirements affecting Mail.dat and Mail.XML technical file specifications.
• Maintain existing technical specifications and guides and create new documentation for revised system functionality.
• Review technical requirements, develop and update test scripts, perform customer acceptance testing, and validate production releases through smoke and functional testing.
• Document test results, provide testing artifacts, and maintain TLSC documentation and requirements traceability matrices.
• Develop automated test scripts and performance metrics for tracking and reporting customer acceptance testing.
• Prepare training materials, standard operating procedures, and application guides, and participate in mail industry meetings and technical workgroups.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active Public Trust clearance.
• 5–7 years of experience in technology or software development preferred.
• Experience eliciting and documenting business processes and requirements.
• Experience creating manual and automated test scripts, performing customer or user acceptance testing, and documenting test artifacts.
• Experience with smoke, regression, and functional testing; CSV, XML, JSON, relational databases; and API testing with Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Experience with test management using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies, automation tools, and Microsoft 365 applications.

Nice to have

• Software testing certification.
• Experience with Mail.dat and Mail.XML specifications.
• Experience with AI-based or similar automation testing tools.
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL, Java, or Python.
