Remote Support Engineer - Night Shift (Robotics)

Location: Remote; night shift from 6pm–6am on a 4-days-on, 4-days-off rota. Visa sponsorship and relocation are not provided.

What you will do

• Monitor autonomous robots deployed in the field and respond to operational alerts.
• Perform manual interventions using teleoperation tools.
• Provide customer-facing technical support, troubleshoot issues, and explain solutions to non-technical users.
• Help define, document, and implement tools for scaling the monitoring and operations function.
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to identify recurring failures and improve robot design, software, and operational reliability.
• Raise internal tracking tickets and prepare reports on system performance, incident trends, and remote-support effectiveness.

Requirements

• Experience in remote monitoring, helpdesk support, or a similar customer-facing technical support role.
• Proficiency with monitoring, diagnostic, and support tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly under pressure.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time in a remote environment.
• Availability for the 6pm–6am, 4-on-4-off night-shift rota.

• Experience with autonomous mobile robots.
