Merchant Implementation Manager (Payments)

What you will do

• Manage merchant onboarding from initial setup through production launch.
• Configure merchant accounts, payment settings, credentials, access details, and integration information.
• Guide merchants through API integration, payment flows, testing environments, and test scenarios.
• Investigate initial integration issues and coordinate deeper resolution with Product, QA, and Development teams.
• Track integration progress, blockers, questions, and next steps across multiple merchants.
• Coordinate go-live readiness, support first production transactions, and improve onboarding documentation and processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in merchant implementation, technical account management, integration support, payment operations, or a similar role.
• Experience in payments, fintech, PSP, or payment processing.
• Understanding of online payment flows and the payment lifecycle.
• Basic knowledge of API integrations, HTTP requests, webhooks/callbacks, authentication, and tools such as Postman.
• Ability to investigate technical issues, communicate clearly with technical teams, and manage several integrations simultaneously.
• Good spoken and written English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with card payments, alternative payment methods, bank transfers, or crypto payments.
• Understanding of 3DS payment flows.
• Experience with merchant wallets, payment routing, terminals, provider configurations, transaction logs, or payment decline reasons.
• Previous experience with merchant go-live processes.
