Staff Software QA Engineer (Salesforce & Integrations)

Salary: $100,000–$135,000 annual

What you will do

• Define quality standards, testing methodologies, and release governance processes across the department.
• Translate business requirements and acceptance criteria into functional, regression, positive, and negative test cases.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and infrastructure for Salesforce and enterprise platforms.
• Execute test plans, report defects, and maintain traceability between requirements, user stories, and test coverage.
• Analyze defects, replicate production issues in test environments, and support root cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, mentor QA engineers, and validate the stability and performance of integrated applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce testing and test automation.
• Experience with API testing and validation of integrations with external platforms.
• Experience validating distributed, highly available AWS architectures, data pipelines, and security compliance.
• Experience designing automation frameworks for enterprise Salesforce platforms, including Apex, custom objects, and managed packages.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of healthcare data standards, including architecture, validation, and compliance testing for HL7 and FHIR API messaging structures.
