Director New Business Operations (Insurance)

What you will do

• Lead New Business Processing, Suitability, and Hybrid Contact Center operations across service, quality, productivity, compliance, and customer experience.
• Develop operational strategies to improve end-to-end new business processes and producer and policyholder experiences.
• Monitor KPIs, use data and analytics to identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement, automation, and scalable solutions.
• Partner with Distribution, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product, Finance, and Workforce Management on operational initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers while building an inclusive, accountable, and high-performing culture.
• Champion change management, operational excellence, and responsible adoption of AI-enabled capabilities with appropriate governance and risk controls.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years of formal or informal leadership experience.
• Experience in insurance, annuities, financial services, or related operations.
• Expertise in New Business Operations, Suitability, Contact Center Operations, or similar insurance operations.
• Experience leading large-scale operational change, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and developing high-performing leaders.
• Experience with technology, workflow automation, AI-enabled solutions, and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong knowledge of insurance operations, regulatory requirements, operational risk management, and compliance; bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
