Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Manufacturing)

Location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States; approximately 10–15% travel, primarily between Chelmsford and Wilmington, with occasional travel to other ACT locations worldwide.

Annual salary: $115,000–$135,000

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional Lean and Six Sigma projects aligned with business objectives.
• Identify improvement opportunities and select projects with business stakeholders.
• Execute DMAIC initiatives to improve process flow, quality, and cost savings.
• Coach teams in continuous improvement methods, project leadership, and statistical analysis.
• Track project progress and results through regular leadership reviews.
• Train Six Sigma Green Belts, Lean Leaders, and project Sponsors while supporting the OpEx deployment strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline such as Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of proven experience with significant contributions to continuous improvement activities.
• At least 5 years of professional experience leading and coaching improvement teams.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, Lean and Six Sigma methods, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with process mapping, value stream mapping, measurement system analysis, capability analysis, line balancing, and one-piece flow.
