Network Engineer (Cisco/Meraki)

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and improve LAN/WAN infrastructure across global office locations.
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and other network security services.
• Monitor network health, investigate anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve WiFi, VPN, WAN, and other network incidents.
• Drive network automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and technical project documentation.
• Support change management, security compliance, on-call rotations, and the technical development of junior engineers.

Requirements

• Mid-level network engineering experience with enterprise office networks.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Meraki environments.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, firewalls, and routing.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting and automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently and collaborate with IT Operations, Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams.
• Strong communication, documentation, ownership, and continuous-improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and AWS networking.
• Understanding of GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, Jira, ServiceNow, AI-assisted tools, and low-code/no-code automation platforms.
