Sr. General Accountant

Location: Thu Duc City, Vietnam

What you will do

• Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, payroll entries, and other accounting adjustments.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review supplier invoices, process payment requests and online banking transactions, reconcile bank accounts, and support treasury and cash forecasting.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and coordinate payroll accounting activities.
• Prepare statutory tax filings, financial schedules, corporate reports, and annual financial statement support.
• Coordinate with corporate finance, auditors, tax authorities, banks, vendors, and other external stakeholders while improving accounting processes and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end closing, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and general ledger accounting.
• Knowledge of Vietnam Accounting Standards and Vietnam tax regulations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with FAST Accounting Software; Oracle ERP experience is preferred.
• Good spoken and written English, with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
