Strategy Director

Location: Auckland, New Zealand; hybrid, with teams in the office an average of four days a week

What you will do

• Lead strategy across client projects and new business pitches.
• Turn research, culture, trends, and market knowledge into clear strategic insights.
• Develop strategies and creative briefs that inspire strong work.
• Partner with Creative and Client teams from briefing through execution, shaping and challenging ideas.
• Present strategic thinking to clients and lead workshops and ideation sessions.
• Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and strategic contributions to pitches.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in brand strategy.
• Strong understanding of the New Zealand market and culture.
• Experience turning research and insights into strategic thinking.
• Confidence presenting to clients and leading strategic projects.
• Experience working closely with Creative teams and managing multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with a curious, proactive, and collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Agency experience.
• Experience contributing to or leading new business pitches.
