Logistics Operator, Ellesmere Port (Manufacturing)

Location: Ellesmere Port, United Kingdom; onsite at the Ellesmere Port site, Monday to Friday day shifts from 7am to 4pm

Salary: £35,069 per year starting base salary, plus discretionary bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Coordinate daily and weekly loading schedules with the production planner.
• Safely load and offload road barrels and vehicles using FLT equipment.
• Upload delivery and collection data accurately to operational systems.
• Complete daily yard system checks, including EHSQ requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping across the yard, tank farms, and bunds, including routine maintenance.
• Support logistics operations by coordinating with internal departments, external contacts, and visiting drivers while meeting DGSA requirements and safely handling chemical samples.

Requirements

• FLT license and relevant experience.
• Computer skills with MS Word, MS Excel, SAP, and SharePoint.
• Commitment to safety standards and safe working practices.
• Planning, prioritization, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
