Head of Finance, Sales & Order Execution AU&NZ

What you will do

• Oversee financial operations, budgets, forecasts, books, records, and financial performance across Australia and New Zealand.
• Manage sales for the Grid Technologies portfolio and oversee the execution of supply projects in the region.
• Lead and mentor a direct team of six colleagues, coordinating additional regional support when needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, Siemens accounting policies, IFRS, internal controls, and signing authorities.
• Partner with technical and regional finance leaders to manage project financial results, risks, opportunities, gross profit, and cash flow.
• Manage customer invoicing, vendor payments, foreign exchange, and other day-to-day operational finance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in project controlling or accounting, with substantial project finance experience.
• Experience in a financial leadership role covering a multi-country region.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regional financial regulations, analytical methods, and financial reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
• Fluent professional English with strong written and verbal communication skills, plus effective leadership and collaboration abilities.
