Implementation Principal Engineer (Airport IT)

What you will do

• Lead technical delivery for large-scale software and hardware implementation projects from planning and installation through configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Coordinate end-to-end resolution of technical issues and provide recommendations, updates, and status reports to internal and customer stakeholders.
• Work with customers on upgrades, installations, architecture discussions, and technical decisions, including pre-sales presentations when required.
• Support Airline Acceptance Testing, User Acceptance Testing, System Integration Testing, and Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer activities.
• Collaborate across the SDLC with Business Analysts, QA, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure quality and continuity.

Requirements

• Strong experience with airport management systems, including AODB, FRMS, FIDS, and PropWorks.
• Experience configuring airport management systems and designing system interfaces.
• Practical experience across the SDLC, from requirements analysis through testing and deployment.
• Ability to work independently on technical topics and collaborate with cross-functional, customer-facing teams.
• Clear communication with technical specialists, customer stakeholders, and senior executive audiences.
• Structured and proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to contribute to solution design.
