TL;DR

What you will do

  • Design, develop, implement, and validate advanced control algorithms for robotics, motion control, and process automation systems.
  • Build mathematical models of static and dynamic mechatronic systems and perform system identification and parameter estimation.
  • Implement real-time control software using MATLAB, Simulink, model-based design, and embedded code generation.
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, servo drives, embedded controllers, industrial communication interfaces, and software components.
  • Develop AI/ML-based solutions for intelligent control, diagnostics, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and system optimization.
  • Conduct experiments, system characterization, servo tuning, root-cause investigations, product qualification, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in control systems, automation, mechatronics, and controllers.
  • Strong knowledge of classical and modern control theory, including PID control, state-space modeling, observer design, feedforward control, and advanced motion control.
  • Experience developing and validating real-time control algorithms and integrating complex mechatronic systems.
  • Experience with technical documentation, design reviews, validation reports, customer presentations, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.
  • Semiconductor equipment control system development or similar experience is preferred.
