Senior Analyst, Merchandising Strategy (Retail)

Location: Remote; Flex Designation: Anywhere. Corporate remote role based at 26677 Agoura Road, Calabasas, California, with up to 5% travel.

Salary: $93,000–$139,500 annually, depending on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Support high-priority strategic initiatives across Merchandising, Marketing, IT, and Finance.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment, manage timelines, and support cross-functional project delivery.
• Build and maintain recurring KPI, executive, and performance reporting.
• Synthesize large datasets into actionable insights using Excel, SQL, and BI tools.
• Identify merchandising workflow inefficiencies and support SOP, governance, and process improvements.
• Support pricing, promotional, replacement-parts, and other merchandising initiatives.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree from a top-tier university.
• 4+ years of progressive work responsibility.
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet short deadlines, and work in high-visibility settings.
• Strong strategic, financial, problem-solving, analytical, communication, presentation, influencing, and change-management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with comfort working with large datasets and ambiguous problems.
• Ability to work in a general office environment, including extended periods of sitting, computer use, and lifting up to 15 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience in merchandising, category management, management consulting, corporate strategy, or investment banking.
• Financial analysis or business intelligence experience, including pricing, analytics, or P&L management.
• Experience with SQL and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Exposure to CPG, retail, or ecommerce.
