Engineer, Refrigeration System (HVAC)

Location: Shanghai, China; onsite five days per week

What you will do

• Follow the product development process to design and validate refrigeration systems and air-conditioning products.
• Use simulation software and testing equipment to build models, analyze system performance, identify issues, and propose improvements.
• Develop mathematical models that represent unit control logic and support standardized, modular model design.
• Develop automation tools to improve refrigeration system development workflows.
• Collaborate with project teams and other departments to advance technical work.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Thermodynamics, Refrigeration, Cryogenics, Air Conditioning, Heat Transfer, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles and HVAC theory.
• Experience simulating and modeling refrigeration systems and components.
• Programming experience with C++, Python, VBA, or similar computer languages.
• Good written and verbal communication in Chinese and English; CET-6 or equivalent English level required.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and cross-functional coordination skills.
