Performance Engineer (China Market)

What you will do

• Optimize and improve the performance of the trading stack using low-latency technologies such as microwave links and FPGAs.
• Capture and evaluate network data, develop performance prototypes, and automate processes.
• Analyze data, design statistical experiments, and use data-driven insights to improve trading results.
• Investigate latency issues and system bottlenecks, advising the Trading department on technology setups.
• Collaborate with traders, technology teams, and other stakeholders to resolve latency and efficiency issues.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for infrastructure adoption and provide clear implementation recommendations.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
• Experience covering the Chinese equity market.
• Strong knowledge of computer internals, networking, and Linux systems.
• Programming experience in Python and/or C++.
• Experience with system-level performance tuning, data analysis, and low-latency hardware, along with strong communication skills.
