Facilities Engineering Intern

Location: On-site in Chengdu, China

What you will do

• Learn the logic and operation of critical systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, cleanroom control, and water treatment.
• Participate in daily operational workflows, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and change management processes.
• Automate manual facility workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps to improve efficiency.
• Design and maintain the department's SharePoint portal to optimize engineering documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Assist in collecting operational data and tracking PM compliance to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Solid understanding of basic engineering principles, CAD/PID drawings, and control systems logic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint site configuration and permission management.
• Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Fluent English speaking and proficient technical English writing.
• Must be able to work on-site in Chengdu, PRC.
