Engineering Project Manager (Earthmoving Technology)

Location: Christchurch, New Zealand; onsite five days a week. Travel requirement: less than 10%.

hirify.global's CTCT joint venture with Trimble develops positioning and control products for earthmoving and paving machines used in construction and mining.

What you will do

• Lead an international system integration team developing core software and hardware system components through the T5 phase-gate process.
• Coordinate work breakdowns, estimates, resource requirements, and master product schedules.
• Manage resources, team dynamics, change control, schedules, cost targets, and contractual objectives.
• Monitor project needs, identify risks, execute mitigation plans, and communicate updates to senior management and product teams.
• Coordinate engineering, hardware, software, installation solutions, and product teams through new product introduction from concept to commercialization.
• Champion accountability for following the T5 outcome process across product teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering, computer science, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on technical project management experience in cross-functional teams and software development organizations.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently and proactively identifying issues.
• Ability to maintain strong professional relationships and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Availability to work onsite in Christchurch five days per week is required.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants requiring employer-tied sponsorship are not currently eligible.

• Experience with Agile software development, backlog planning, and value team facilitation.
