Engineering Project Managers & Senior- Upper North (Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid across Upper North Island sites in New Zealand, including Bay of Plenty District, Hamilton and North Waikato, Northland, Taupo and Southern Waikato

What you will do

• Deliver capital projects across manufacturing sites, covering safety, infrastructure, sustainability, reliability, growth and asset improvement.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules and business cases from inception through completion.
• Manage consultants, suppliers and contractors through design, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations teams to convert strategic and operational priorities into executable work.
• For senior opportunities, lead complex capital projects and programmes while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Influence stakeholders, collaborate with senior leaders, and mentor and build capability in others.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated project management experience delivering capital projects in industrial environments such as manufacturing, food processing, dairy, utilities or energy.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management, organisation, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to health, safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Senior opportunities require significant experience with complex capital projects and programmes, advanced contracting, commercial and risk management capability, and demonstrated leadership.
