Focus on translating French and European regulation into practical controls, building a more scalable operating model, and developing an AFC specialist team.

What you will do
- Lead governance for high-risk customers, including Enhanced Due Diligence, approvals, and periodic reviews.
- Translate French and European AML/CFT requirements into policies, guidelines, questionnaires, controls, and operational processes.
- Advise Product on AFC risks across new features and customer journeys.
- Move the AFC function toward process ownership, continuous improvement, and controlled automation.
- Set priorities and lead a team of AFC specialists covering AML, KYB/C, and sanctions.
- Partner with Product, Tech, Operations, Compliance, and local AML Officers across Europe.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on experience in AML/CFT, KYC/KYB, EDD, high-risk customer decisions, and periodic reviews within a regulated financial institution or fintech.
- Experience interpreting French and European requirements and defining policies, guidelines, or controls.
- Ability to explain AFC topics clearly and translate regulatory constraints into implementable product and operational solutions.
- Experience leading people, specialists, or complex improvement initiatives.
- Fluent French and English required.
