2027 Spring Co-op Oncology Research

Location: Onsite in Cambridge, Massachusetts; must be able to relocate to the office and work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for the full six-month co-op.

Salary: $29–$45 per hour, based on demonstrated experience.

What you will do

• Contribute to oncology research projects in a laboratory environment.
• Apply cell-based assays and molecular biology techniques.
• Support research involving immunology and genomic medicine.
• Build familiarity with mRNA and siRNA technologies.
• Collaborate with research teams while developing scientific and technical skills under mentorship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, immunology, or a related field, with planned graduation by Spring 2029.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must remain enrolled at an accredited college or university throughout the co-op.
• Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, Massachusetts, 40 hours per week for the full duration.
• Strong attention to detail, scientific rigor, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Laboratory experience with cell-based assays and molecular biology techniques.
• Background in immunology.
