What you will do

• Define the engineering vision, architecture, and delivery roadmap for the Agentic Content Studio Platform.
• Build scalable platform capabilities for global tax and compliance content across multiple domains.
• Lead AI-assisted workflows for content sourcing, extraction, transformation, validation, and maintenance.
• Design secure, observable, resilient services covering orchestration, APIs, integrations, and content systems.
• Enable downstream products such as AvaTax, ATC, and ATR to consume platform capabilities through standardized interfaces, including MCP where appropriate.
• Build and develop a high-performing engineering organization while driving responsible AI adoption and measurable operational outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including large-scale platforms or distributed systems.
• 5+ years leading engineering managers and senior engineers in complex, cross-functional organizations.
• Experience with platform strategy, architecture, distributed systems, APIs, workflow orchestration, integrations, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with LLMs, agent-based systems, RAG architectures, or equivalent AI platforms, plus strong Python and modern AI application framework experience.
• Experience with cloud-native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP and MLOps practices such as CI/CD, evaluation pipelines, monitoring, and model lifecycle management.
