Business Analyst (Insurance)

What you will do

• Define project scope and manage business requirements from high-level user journeys through detailed functional specifications.
• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and prepare process models, system flows, data specifications, integration logic, and user stories.
• Identify process improvements and technical development opportunities with technology teams.
• Prioritize requirements, maintain traceability matrices, and collaborate with project managers on scope, planning, and risk assessment.
• Design test scopes and plans, support testing, and conduct training and change-management activities.
• Manage post-implementation activities, including incident resolution, root-cause analysis, stakeholder engagement, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business IT, Business Information Systems, IT Management, Computing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or Product Owner in system delivery or process-improvement projects.
• In-depth understanding of general and/or life insurance products and processes.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, requirements analysis, solution design, system testing, implementation, change management, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio or other process-modeling tools, Jira, Confluence, and project or system-delivery tools.

Nice to have

• Strong process-modeling, analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and system-design skills.
• Experience with digital transformation or system and platform modernization projects in general or life insurance.
