Salary: $33.00–$41.00 per hour, plus possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide member service, identify needs, support purchasing decisions, resolve concerns, and promote products and services.
• Sell optical products and services, including eyewear and contact lenses.
• Measure, adjust, and repair frames and lenses, verify prescription information, and complete optical orders.
• Collect payments for doctor services and perform and record optometric pretest results.
• Receive, stock, organize, price, and maintain optical merchandise and displays.
• Process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, exchanges, claims, and required documentation.

Requirements

• Licensed optician qualification is required for the position.
• Ability to handle eyewear and contact lens orders, prescription verification, frame and lens adjustments, and repairs.
• Ability to perform optometric pretests and accurately document results.
• Ability to operate cash registers and related equipment and process different membership and payment types.
• Ability to follow company procedures for merchandise handling, claims, returns, compliance, and shrink control.
