Investment Operations Specialist

Location: On-site Monday through Friday at the headquarters in McLean, VA, or the New York City office (preferred); relocation can be discussed

What you will do

• Run Trading, Transfers, Account Lifecycle, and Investment Experience functions independently.
• Train Associates and serve as a licensed escalation point for operational questions.
• Own trading operations from suitability review through daily rebalancing checks within defined approval limits.
• Manage funding, transfers, account investment, and operational blockers across the member lifecycle.
• Resolve process breakdowns directly and ship at least one automation or process improvement.
• Partner with Certified Financial Planners and the investments team on investment management and portfolio modeling.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in investment operations, brokerage operations, or a comparable financial services role.
• Deep familiarity with custodial or clearing platforms and core brokerage workflows.
• Experience running operations functions independently and training others to execute processes.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Series 7, 63, or 65/66 license required.

• FinTech, RIA, or broker-dealer experience.
