Senior Specialist - Software Engineering (Java)

Location: Remote from Mexico

What you will do

• Translate complex application requirements into functional, efficient, and reusable code.
• Develop backend systems, APIs, and microservices for high-volume, low-latency applications.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, write unit and integration tests, debug issues, and resolve bugs.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, UX designers, and DevOps teams to integrate solutions across the technology stack.
• Create detailed design documentation and investigate technologies that support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must be located in Mexico.
• Advanced proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, and Java 8 or higher.
• Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL, including complex SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Maven or Gradle, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and Agile Scrum methodologies.
