Sales Engineer, Identity Security - West (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States; Sales territory: West

Compensation: $250,000–$275,000 total compensation annually, potentially including sales incentives, equity, or benefits.

What you will do

• Drive revenue through large, complex cybersecurity sales opportunities.
• Identify client business issues and architect enterprise information availability solutions using Cyera products and services.
• Deliver and manage proof-of-value engagements and use-case demonstrations at customer sites.
• Consult with executive stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources and support the sales team in building a repeatable business model.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for partners and represent Cyera at marketing events.

Requirements

• Experience in cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical sales role.
• Strong understanding of identity principles and identity management.
• Experience with AI-driven solutions and fundamental knowledge of ML/AI, data regulatory frameworks, privacy, and data retention programs.
• Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure roles, permissions, and APIs; AWS or Azure expertise is preferred.
• Fundamental network and database experience, including data storage, encryption, key management, cloud IAM, and network design and protocols.
• Knowledge of SFDC, strong communication and presentation skills, creative problem-solving ability, and willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals.
• AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Cloud Security Engineer or Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or CCSP certification.
