Manager, Enrollment (Telehealth)

What you will do

• Manage and develop a team of 51 enrollment specialists covering government and commercial payer enrollment.
• Build a management layer with leads or supervisors, define escalation paths, and establish workflow accountability.
• Set queues, deadlines, and quality standards for accurate and timely provider enrollment applications.
• Investigate denial patterns, perform root-cause analysis, and implement process changes to reduce denial rates.
• Monitor payer turnaround times, follow up on stalled applications, and report throughput, volume, approval, and denial trends.
• Coordinate enrollment activities with Revenue Cycle Management, Sales, Payer Contracting, Medical Staff Credentialing, Compliance, Legal, and client-facing programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in provider or payer enrollment, credentialing, or payer relations across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• 2+ years leading or supervising a large, high-volume operational team, ideally 25+ employees and through sub-leads or supervisors.
• Experience with multi-state or multi-region private practice enrollment and understanding of commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage processes.
• Working knowledge of MDStaff, CAQH, PECOS, or similar credentialing and enrollment systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and process-building skills.

Nice to have

• Direct telehealth industry experience.
• Experience managing or partnering with a globally distributed or offshore team.
• Experience implementing or managing ticketing and workflow tools such as Jira.
