What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and analyze functional, logical, and physical system architecture models using SysML, UML, and Cameo MBSE tools.
• Lead requirements engineering activities, including elicitation, decomposition, allocation, traceability, validation, and verification.
• Establish modeling standards, profiles, conventions, and governance processes to maintain model quality and consistency.
• Manage collaborative architecture development, branching, merging, baselines, and version control in TeamWork Cloud.
• Prepare architecture views, model-based artifacts, technical briefings, and documentation for customer and internal technical reviews.
• Coordinate MBSE activities with hardware, software, integration, test, and program management teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain one.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5–12 years of Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering experience across the systems lifecycle.
• Experience developing and managing SysML and UML architectures with Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architecture, MagicDraw, or comparable tools.
• Experience supporting Department of War programs, DoDAF architecture products, requirements traceability, technical reviews, and systems engineering lifecycle processes.
• Experience authoring and reviewing specifications, architecture descriptions, verification plans, interface documentation, and technical reports.

Nice to have

• Technical leadership experience in MBSE implementation or architecture development.
• Experience with TeamWork Cloud, Azure DevOps, Jira, PLM tools, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with digital thread initiatives, model-centric systems development, program management, manufacturing, producibility, WBS, or BOM activities.
• INCOSE ASEP, CSEP, or related Systems Engineering certification.
