Senior Manager, Operations (P&C Insurance) Temporary (P&C Insurance)

Location: Remote United States; candidates must live in Ohio, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Florida, Arizona or Texas. The role is temporary, with potential to convert to full-time.

Salary: $65–$75 USD annual pay scale, plus bonus pay.

What you will do

• Manage strategic relationships with critical BPO vendors, including onboarding, offboarding, transitions, knowledge transfer, scorecards, and quarterly business reviews.
• Map and optimize workflows across BPO-delivered functions, determining which processes should be digitized, automated, outsourced, or retained in-house.
• Lead Six Sigma process improvement initiatives, quantify ROI, standardize workflows, and drive adoption with operational teams.
• Own monthly performance reviews covering KPIs, SLAs, quality, productivity, customer experience, staffing models, and capacity planning.
• Manage vendor-related operational, financial, regulatory, security, and business continuity risks in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and Finance.
• Resolve escalations, maintain escalation paths and RACI frameworks, and present performance dashboards to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of P&C commercial insurance experience; candidates without commercial lines knowledge will not be considered.
• 3–5+ years of experience in vendor management, BPO operations, procurement, or a related discipline.
• Six Sigma Green Belt required; hands-on process improvement experience required, with Black Belt strongly preferred.
• Experience with multi-vendor contracts, vendor transitions, performance management, SLA governance, and P&C insurance regulatory requirements.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Experience with ticketing platforms, data analysis tools, KPIs, and third-party security frameworks is required or preferred as specified.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• Six Sigma Black Belt.
• Experience with Zendesk, ServiceNow, Salesforce Service Cloud, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• PMP or equivalent certification.
