Sr. Manager Bank Relationship and Payment Network (Fintech)

Location: London, England and Toronto, ON. Assigned workspace available in the Toronto and/or London office.

What you will do

• Manage and deepen relationships with correspondent and partner banks globally.
• Expand account networks, payment rails, currencies, and banking corridors.
• Oversee bank account onboarding, maintenance, operations, closure, and entity onboarding across jurisdictions.
• Lead KYC and counterparty due diligence processes, including refresh and remediation cycles.
• Contribute to the Bank Steering Committee through business cases, recommendations, meeting coordination, and action tracking.
• Optimize interest income and bank fees while managing credit facility reporting, budgets, audits, safeguarding, and SOX access reviews.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in treasury, banking operations, or financial services in a global or multi-entity environment.
• Working knowledge of correspondent banking, payment rails, bank fee structures, KYC, and counterparty due diligence.
• Experience with regulated account operations, safeguarding, reconciliation controls, interest income optimization, fee analysis, and management reporting.
• Experience engaging senior internal stakeholders and external banking counterparties.
• Strong organizational and project management skills across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with EMEA and Malta MFSA regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
• Experience supporting bank steering or governance committees.
• Exposure to virtual accounts and payment scheme infrastructure.
• Professional qualification in treasury, accounting, or banking.
