Head of Consumer Operations (Crypto): Owning the financial operations backbone for consumer deposits, withdrawals, settlements, and reconciliation across fiat and cryptocurrency assets with an accent on operational scalability, controls, and cross-functional execution. Focus on building high-performing operations teams, supporting product and geographic expansion, and managing AML, fraud, treasury, and payment-partner dependencies.
Location: London office with mandatory in-office presence four days per week; remote work is available for up to 20 days under the Work from Anywhere policy.

What you will do
- Own end-to-end consumer financial operations covering fiat and cryptocurrency deposits, withdrawals, settlements, and reconciliation.
- Define service-level agreements and operational metrics for transaction success, withdrawal processing, and dispute resolution.
- Build and scale operations teams across reconciliation, asset movement, and support operations, including in-house and outsourced functions.
- Lead incident response for failed withdrawals, settlement delays, banking outages, and exchange disruptions.
- Prepare operations for product launches and geographic expansions, including infrastructure, licensing dependencies, and go-live runbooks.
- Improve automation, controls, vendor performance, fraud prevention, treasury coordination, and operational reporting.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in financial operations, payments operations, or treasury operations, including 4+ years in senior leadership.
- Direct experience managing fiat and cryptocurrency money movement at meaningful transaction volume and scale.
- Experience building and leading operations teams through rapid growth, including in-house and outsourced or BPO workforce planning.
- Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, and fraud-prevention frameworks, with experience partnering with Compliance.
- Experience working with Treasury on liquidity, cash positioning, or banking relationships.
- Experience with product launches, geographic expansions, regulatory dependencies, payment processors, banking partners, or crypto trading and custody platforms.

- Experience in crypto, fintech, or a regulated financial institution.
- Crypto or digital-asset industry experience.
