Structural Engineering Intern - Summer 2027

What you will do

• Collect information during field inspections and produce or interpret field sketches.
• Convert design sketches and markups into Revit format.
• Support structural engineering teams with project details, drawings, and deliverable package assembly.
• Coordinate project details with engineers, lead designers, and other discipline leads.
• Apply BIM and ACC applications and follow Salas O’Brien and client CAD standards.
• Work on multiple projects while communicating effectively and supporting the design team’s growth.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of general structural drawings.
• Microsoft Office application skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• AutoCAD and/or Revit experience is preferred.
