What you will do

• Perform structural calculations and analysis in accordance with Australian Standards.
• Design and document structures and foundations made from concrete, steel, wood, composites, and other engineered products.
• Prepare tender documents, including scopes, inclusions, exclusions, and design documentation estimates.
• Develop design documentation, sketches, and marked-up concepts to communicate design intent.
• Review project drawings and documentation and identify opportunities to improve deliverable quality.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions, provide client exposure, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience covering conventional aspects of structural engineering.
• Ability to evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Sound judgment when adapting and modifying engineering methods for project requirements.
• Experience supporting both straightforward and complex structural engineering assignments.
