Engineering Intern (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support process improvement, productivity, and operational excellence projects in a manufacturing facility.
• Review and update Process & Instrumentation Diagrams through field observations, plant collaboration, and AutoCAD revisions.
• Analyze operational data, KPIs, and project requirements to identify productivity and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist with project planning and execution.
• Review and update Standard Operating Procedures to keep documentation accurate and aligned with site practices and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, EHS, Facilities, and Site Leadership teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with AutoCAD or technical drawing software is preferred.
