Launch Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; offices in New York City and San Francisco. Remote roles do not require regular office attendance, though travel is expected a few times a year for onboarding and company off-sites.

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year, plus commission and equity.

What you will do

• Own setup data migrations for dozens of concurrent customer implementations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with more than 15 Launch Managers to deliver timely, error-free go-lives.
• Transform payroll, benefits, and demographic data from spreadsheets and PDFs into required system formats.
• Extract data from cloud-based and on-premises legacy payroll and HR providers.
• Identify missing or incorrect data and coordinate corrections with clients and Launch Managers.
• Design processes, automations, tooling, and AI-powered workflows that help Launch Operations scale.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data-heavy operations, implementation, or migration roles, including extracting, transforming, and validating data across systems.
• Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent projects and customer-driven deadlines.
• Experience building or improving processes and tooling.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including formulas, lookups, data cleaning, and automation.
• Experience using AI tools to automate and accelerate work, with the motivation to develop those workflows further.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, relationship-building, and adaptability in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Payroll or tax knowledge.
• Familiarity with ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, Sage, or Foundation.
• SQL, scripting, or automation experience beyond spreadsheets.
