What you will do
- Prepare financial reports, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Manage daily cash reporting, deposits, and bank reconciliations.
- Post month-end adjusting journal entries and prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Support special projects and provide assistance during interim and year-end audits.
Requirements
- BS or BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3–8 years of accounting experience in a major company or large corporate division.
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency with Excel and Word, along with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, highly motivated, well organized, analytical, and capable of critical thinking.
Nice to have
- Experience in an architecture, engineering, or professional services company.
- Prior experience with Deltek VantagePoint.
