What you will do
- Lead monthly and quarterly close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, payroll, and intercompany transactions.
- Conduct variance analyses comparing actuals against budgets and provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Maintain and reconcile key balance sheet accounts including AR, AP, and cash.
- Prepare audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement automation improvements within ERP systems.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex reconciliation templates.
Nice to have
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting certification.
- Experience with multi-entity consolidations and foreign currency accounting.
- Background in SaaS, professional services, or real estate industries.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations or finance automation initiatives.
