hirify.globalss="what-you-will-do">What you will do

• Lead sales and use tax consulting projects, including nexus studies, restructuring opportunities, voluntary disclosure agreements, PL 86-282 studies, and refund reviews.
• Represent clients in sales and use tax audits, state tax notices, amnesty programs, and voluntary disclosure proceedings.
• Identify client growth opportunities and targets for the sales and use tax compliance center, providing return review support as needed.
• Develop associates and senior associates while supporting the growth and training of the SALT team.
• Partner with industry leaders and national teams to create sales and use tax thought leadership and support M&A transactions from a SALT perspective.
• Contribute to SALT growth initiatives, recruiting, client relationships, billing, collections, engagement setup, and risk management compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• CPA certification required; EA or JD may be accepted instead.
• Ability to work with State and Local Tax leadership, industry leaders, national teams, clients, and taxing authorities.
